N-Bot goes to Berkeley!

N-Bot, the 10-dollar robot that we developed here at the NatalNet laboratory (UFRN-Brazil) is currently on display on the UC Citris Tech museum at University of California, Berkeley.

The exposition will be held until March 1st and is open to the public.

Attached to this post there is a PDF file of the museum brochure designed by Dan Chapman.

Brazilian trains years ago

I always loved trains. No wonder why: when I was a young kid I used to frequently ride trains with my grandmother Angelina. She had a free pass for any train because my grandfather worked at the railroad company (Fepasa). These are photos of my great-grandfather, Egydio Vidal, who came from Italy and was an engine driver for Fepasa, the São Paulo State railroad company. I miss those rides.
