I was specially interested in the boot profiling information. Seems like it learns which files are used at boot time, and then uses some read-ahead disk technique to make the boot faster. I searched the Internet and found people with 20 seconds decrease in boot time.

    I totally agree that remove the fingers from the keyboard is bad. But the part that says that every programmer knows it is inaccurate. The proof is that not every developer uses VIM 😛

    You are full of surprises, sir. The first tip, about the boot time, is a big deal. I’ll try it and see how much it improves my boot time 😀
